Lehigh Valley/Berks Section
Welcome to the
Lehigh Valley/Berks Section
The Lehigh Valley/Berks Section of APA Pennsylvania Chapter provides leadership in the development of great communities for all by promoting education and empowerment, advocating excellence in community planning, and providing the tools and support necessary to meet the challenges of growth and change. Our members include professional planners working for local governments, state agencies, consulting firms, planning commissioners, and anyone else with an interest in planning.
About the Section
As the Lehigh Valley/Berks Section of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association, we represent a diverse and far-ranging group of communities. From the bucolic farmlands of Berks County to the urban core of Allentown, we are a group of planners and like-minded individuals who support healthy communities and vibrant places. Among other things, we share in common a desire to make great communities happen in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The counties that make up our section are Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton.
